1950’s gem, originally designed by PNW architect, Arnold Gangnes, required some modern updates to the kitchen, living room, master suite, and guest rooms to better align with the client’s lifestyle.

The Using a mix of natural woods and brick, SHED Architects were able to insert new materials while maintaining the home’s original character and charm.

SHED Architects, together with interior designer Jennie Gruss, preserved the timber floor in the kitchen, the living room and the dining room.

Timber has been extensively used in this renovation on the floors, ceilings and custom-made wooden structures and furniture. Still distinguish black metal beams, which create a modern atmosphere.
